SEMPER Team in the Philippines

Ten members of the SEMPER team (Stanford Emergency Medicine Program for Emergency Response) will deploy to the Philippines on November 22, 2013 to provide medical aid to those in need in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan. “We have an absolute obligation and duty to provide support in this way, in any way possible,” said Colin Bucks, MD, Associate Director for SEMPER and Clinical Assistant Professor for Emergency Medicine. The SEMPER team, working with Medical Teams International, is scheduled to stay in the Philippines for two weeks.

SEMPER prepares for deployment to Philippines

Members of the Stanford Emergency Medicine Program for Emergency Response (SEMPER) began preparations for their two-week deployment to the Philippines to provide medical aid to those in need in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan.
